My peonies have just started to bloom this week and they are so gorgeous!  I am enjoying them as much inside as I am outside.

It's My Birthday!

I am celebrating my 38th birthday today!!!  Charlotte and I baked yummy strawberry cupcakes and topped them with this delicious frosting (be sure to double the frosting recipe).  My hubby is out picking up chinese food for dinner and a movie.  I am looking forward to a relaxing evening at home with my family.  Tomorrow, we are headed to Asheville for the day to celebrate again!

Lovely Roses

I brought these beauties home from my in-law's rose garden last night!  Are they not just gorgeous?

Saturday Evening

Awww what a wonderful evening we had out on the patio enjoying beautiful Spring weather!  Wine for mommy, beer for daddy, bubbles for Charlotte and treats for the dog.  Yes, the perfect evening!

Happy Girl...

With her morning smoothie!  She's really not a big fan of smoothies, but has to have one almost every morning, like mommy!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  Charlotte starts swim lessons tomorrow and I plan to get some gardening in, too!  We are forecasted to have a warm and sunny Spring weekend and that makes me very happy!
