Happy Monday...

I am happy to report that Miss Charlotte has slept through the night in her bed for the past five nights.  We are making progress!!  We are also now "pacifier free."  She really does not seem to miss it, thank goodness.  Next on our list, potty training...wish me luck!

Thanks again for the birthday wishes!  I had a wonderful day!

This photo was taken Saturday morning just hours before the pacifier "disappeared."

My peonies are in bloom and are so beautiful!

Have a great week!

  1. Wow, what beautiful peonies! I am jealous.

We need to get rid of Angus's pacifier soon (or "dummy", as we call them over here) but I just can't bring myself to yet! Well done for cracking the sleeping through the night and the pacifier in the same week. The potty training will come when she is ready. x

  2. Thanks Gillian! Getting rid of the pacifier was suprisingly easy for us! The last few weeks she was chewing on them and splitting them in half, so that was my clue that she was just bored with it. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I never pushed the issue, I basically just left it up to her. You will know when the time is right! I think I spoke too soon about her sleep. She called for me at 2AM last night, but quickly went back to sleep. Hopefully she will be back on track tonight!

  3. congrats for an easy transition to the big girl bed! my daughter made the change pretty easily a few months ago, although we had to get a rail for it because she kept falling out of bed. now whenever someone comes over she wants to show them her big girl bed. so cute!

your peonies are gorgeous! i have one plant that had two blossoms on it, but they just dropped their petals. sigh...

  4. Thanks Cassie! She really is loving her big bed, although we also added the rail as she kept falling out. We took her to PB Kids last weekend to pick out a new quilt for her bed, it's beautiful and she is so excited about it. I am thoroughly enjoying my peonies, it's one of my favorite flowers!. I hope you have better luck with yours next year.
